Jill was a gifted tattoo artist, who understood
the tremendous healing potential of Tattoo Magic. She was very active
in the National Tattoo Association, which awarded her their highest
service honor, the Peter Tat-2 Award, in 2005. She helped design the
health & safety standards for their national convention, and led
the inspection team until her death. She worked hard to pass on her
insights into the transformative potential of tattooing by teaching
seminars and by directly mentoring young artists.
She was ordained as a Kohenet
-- a Jewish Priestess -- in 2009, and had a special passion for twelve
step recovery.
